What makes a successful sketch? Knowing the drawing basics and not being afraid to make mistakes. In this class Susan will teach how sketching is the ‘figuring out’ of a drawing: the roughs, the ideas, the problem solving. With pencils and erasers only we will make realistic or fanciful sketches that can be left as is or developed into color rendering. Susan is the owner of Georgetown School of the Arts and is passionate about teaching sketching as fun and relaxing way to draw. Students will need papers and pencils. If parents can find pencils #’s 1and 2 that fine but #2 is also fine.

Class meets Thursday Jan. 7th - Mar. 25th at 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. No class on 1/28, 2/11, 3/18.
