Drawing Mixed Media through Norwalk Parks and Recreation (Ages 5-8) Learn to draw what they see in a noncompetitive, creative environment using markers, watercolors, pastels, and other mediums. Experience mixed media painting and illustration projects. Develop self esteem through their drawing success.

Day/Dates: Wednesdays March 6- April 10Time: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm 

Fees: $144.00 per six-week session  **All materials are included in the program fee.**

Instructor: Agata Tria and Susan Jackson  Location: Norwalk Senior Center, 11 Allen Road, Nowalk, CT 06851 

Agata Tria is an accomplished and award-winning artist, exhibiting her soft pastel drawings in the United States and Europe. Her style is mostly minimalistic nature portraits emphasizing color and composition. She loves to create in all kinds of mediums and earned her Master’s degree from the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw, Poland. Agata arrived in the US in 2000 and while learning English worked as a senior Graphic Designer. Agata loves teaching art and cartooning and we’re thrilled to have Agata as one of our teachers. 

Susan Jackson lived in CA for 12 years where she worked as an exhibit designer, a theatrical scenic designer, and a Walt Disney Imagineer. Always knowing in her heart that she wanted to teach children; in 1990 Susan found her way to the front of the classroom at the Monart School for the Arts, Santa Monica, CA. Upon returning to CT, Susan has been arranging and teaching drawing/art classes throughout Fairfield County. In 1994 Susan opened the Paint, Draw & More! Studio, and along with teaching children and adult classes, has been teaching training workshops for teachers to use drawing in the classrooms of public schools.
