Wonderful World of Weaving (Ages 7-13) Color! Texture! Pattern! Go! In this class we will use rigid heddle looms to learnbasic weaving patterns. the class will build toward making mug rugs, bags,scarves, or hanging works of art. Students will receive their own loom to use in the classroom. We will explore loom use, technique, yarns, patterns and some weaving history.

Day/Dates: Thursdays September 14 - October 19 Time: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Susan Jackson loves to teach drawing and painting! Owner of Paint, Draw & More!, Georgetown School of the Arts and Masters and Mixers, Susan has been committed to art education for over 20 years. While earning an undergraduate degree as an industrial and graphic designer and then a Master's in scenic painting, Susan has held many jobs as an art instructor, teaching drawing, painting and scenic design to children.
